SDC Registration open for the public on 3/15 @ 8pm​

 

General Information

Summer Day Camp is for children entering 1st – 7th grade in the fall of 2025. We do not accept children who are TK or younger in the fall of 2025.

  • DATES: June 16th – July 18th, 2025

  • HOURS: 8:45 am – 4:15 pm

  • Away Camp (6th-8th): June 30th - July 4th @ Redwood Alliance Conference Grounds

We will arrive at Hope around 3 pm on July 4th. If needed, arrangements can be made to pick up your children from the campsite. 

  • Friday, July 4th OFF - NO SDC. Please enjoy the holiday with your friends and family!

  • We will have SDC on Thursday, June 19th.

  • The closing ceremony and carnival will be on Saturday, July 19th.

 

  • Lunch is provided as part of the tuition.

  • Weekly Field Trips to places such as Happy Hollows, Oakland Zoo, Six Flags, Great America, and more! Field trip days typically leave campus at 9:30am and arrive on campus before the end of camp.

  • Chaperones are allowed but need to pay for their own tickets upon arrival.

Registration Fee and Tuition

(Please pay with two separate checks addressed to Hope Lutheran Church for each child)

 

Students Entering 1st-5th Grade

$150 Non-refundable Registration fee (Date check: 04/14/2025) + $1250 (Date check: 05/01/2025)

 

Students Entering 6th-7th Grade

$150 Non-refundable Registration fee (Date check: 04/14/2025) + $1675 (Date check: 05/01/2025)

 

**Tuition is a flat rate.  No part of the fees will be refunded for partial attendance, absences, vacations, illness, etcetera. 

 

Extended Care

Extended Care is a flat rate. If your child is dropped off or picked up during the duration of our Extended Care hours, you will be charged the fee for that day. Extended Care payments can be made in advance or you will be billed at the end of each week. An additional dollar will be added for every minute after 6:00pm.

Morning Care 

7:30am-8:45am $40/week; $8/day

​

After Care 

4:15-5:00pm $45/week; $9/day

4:15-6:00pm $75/week; $15/day

 

Registration Information

Guaranteed registration goes to:​

  • Church members

  • DOVE After School attendees

  • Children of church or preschool staff

​

Priority registration* goes to:

  • Students previously enrolled in SDC

  • Students previously enrolled in Hope Day School

  • Students with siblings enrolled in Hope Day School

​*Due to limited space, priority registration is also on a first-come, first-served basis. Enrollment in SDC or Hope Day School does NOT guarantee a spot in camp.

All other applicants will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

STEPS TO ENROLL IN SDC 2025:

  1. Complete the online student registration, which opens on Saturday, March 15th @ 8:00pm SDC 2025 Student Registration

  2. Complete the physical registration packet upon acceptance. You will hear back from us within a week. Registration will be available here and in the church office beginning March 15th.

  3. Attach two separate checks (check or money order only): 

  4. $150.00 non-refundable registration fee (dated 04/15/2025)

  5. Tuition (post-dated 05/01/2025) [tuition information is listed above]

  6. Hand-deliver completed registration packet and fees to the main office of Hope Lutheran Church, 55 San Fernando Way, Daly City NO LATER than 4:00pm on Monday April 14th, 2025 or else your space will be forfeited.

  7. E-mail a digital photo of your child to sdc@hopedalycity.org by May 1st. Subject Line: “Child’s Name (Fall 2025 Grade Level) ID Picture”

**Acceptance emails will be sent out one week after the registration date. Space is limited. To reserve a space for your child, online registration and all fees must be submitted on time.
